So today was a gardening morning planting out new ones and replanting old ones.
This is like God's kingdom with new believers being sown and seasoned ones being stretched into new borders.
Watering and lots of bending and moving about are all part of this arduous task and with grest reward.
God does so much thus for us,and, it is not without growing pains for us as well.
In the end well cared for blooms means blessed people for His glory!

A quiet day resting after our trip to the ocean.
we did some mailings to the grandchildren and it took up a fair portion of the morning.
I always like to write long letters to them and send pics.
our lunch was a splendid assortment of pierogis with onion sour cream and some applesauce.
I managed to pack three boxes for our move and just wonder how we will ever get out of here.
Our little garden is doing quite nicely. I must get to replanting the tomatoes though because they have already outgrown their pots.
Noel made us a yummy supper of pasta with spinach and sausage.
At seven we went to the prayer meeting at church and had such a wonderful sense of peace and fellowship there.

SANDY HOOK
Okay so this is what Sandy Hook is like.
Pretty, historical and small but clean uncommercialized beach.
It was a kinda windy day and the ocean was cold but still we had fun getting a bit wet and laying on the sand.
We did the tour of the lighthouse and went up on the observation deck where you can see across to new york city.
Seems to be a great place to bring the family if you do not want the hassle of busy arcade games and amusements.
And the parking lot is not too far so you do not have to carry your beach stuff a far way.

The dump is no place to go on a hot sunny day.
Especially with a host of seagulls and crows waiting for morsels of whatever they eat (at the dump).
We go here because we cannot have a regular garbage pick up due to our travel lifestyle.
Actually the dump is fascinating! You get to see first hand how much garbage our towns actually have.
When you first get to the entrance of this facility you hand your stuff over to a worker who then weighs your garbage.
This costs per pound and they have this huge cylindrical vat, must be many stories high, that it all gets poured into.
After you pay for the disposal, you go to the recycling section and hat is all free.
Here in New Jersey you sort it all out then the workers carry it to the proper stations.
All of this to say I could be at home spending my time blogging up a storm but gotta empty the garbage sooner or later.

YESTERDAY we went to Swartswood park.
it was a lovely day for a picnic and a lay down on the sand.
The temperature sailed in the 70's and the sky was just so pretty.
However the rain did come but not until we had a few good hours there.
In the evening our church had this Holy Spirit time which I found both calming and refreshing.
Now this all may seem boring or quiet for you but after four kids and thirty years of teaching preschool I found it a delightful way to spend the day.
